Dead beat from completing my assignments and I'm not even done yet.
Sad thing is for the past weekend I've been in front of my computer doing research online and yet unable to complete everything.
Haven't felt so stress for a long time and I've been snacking TOO MUCH . Chocolates and biscuits are the best midnight snacks I can ever have.
Another update that was more than a week ago,
Celebrating 80 years of flying in Singapore with British airways .
The event was incorporated with its 80th anniversary and Fashion at edens hall. There was a showcase of pilots and stewardess's outfits over the years. As these were museum pieces, everyone had to be extra careful with them and of course, it wasn't to my size.
Edens hall is the house of the British commissioner in Singapore . Something like istana but for the British government. The house was HUGE but furnitures were all quite antique.
The big hall where they frequently hold events. It wasn't new to the family that they have visitors everyday.
The staircase was our mini "runway".
The Grey cockaded hat was my favorite !!!!! But too bad, we couldn't keep anything because the outfits were exclusively museum pieces.
I was doned in an grey formal outfit that was worn from 1948.
Featuring a roll collar and deep revere, the outfit was inspired by Paris couturiers of that era.
If you haven't known, it was inspired by Dior's new look where waistlines were more defined.
I love the look from the 1950-1960s and yes it was one of my fashion modules last year.
Nyahaha and apparently I found out that BA stewards and stewardess do base in Singapore!
Fifth from the left, is a disposable floral paper dress that was implemented so stewardess could throw their uniform every flight! Of course, it didn't last long because passengers would try to lit the dress on fire .
Met a lot of experienced stewardesses that night and I really heard a lot about the job.
Some of them have even 20 years of experience in the field!!! Wuttttt
That's bout it for tonight. It's a rainy night YES!
You know how someone tends to sleep better when it's raining? The feeling is indescribable.
Dropped my card on Friday night pffftttt so I've to wake up early in the morning tomorrow to get my ass in the bank.
3 papers on my birthday week. Great.
