99percent Hair Studio Scalp Treatment X Balayage

Its been weeks since I last wrote an entry. Recently,  I paid a visit to my sponsored salon, 99 percent Hair studio to give my locks some TLC!

My assigned hair stylist, Zane professionally suggested a proper scalp treatment to remove any dead 'hair scalp skin' on my scalp! The scalp treatment is one of their latest addition to hair services, if anyone of you are interested, do pop by to enquire.

Just like how skincare specialist has equipments to actually have a microscopic view of your skin, hair stylists do too! 

Zane allowed me to have a look at my hair roots through one of the equipments.

If you look at it up close, there are yellow areas around the hair roots.

Zane applying the treatment serum into my hair roots and left it to dry for about 10-15 minutes.

 

After which, he will carefully start scrunching your hair so that the dead hair scalp skin will eventually fall.

Using the same equipment, my hair scalp was completely free from these molecules of dead skin!

Of course, one treatment will not be sufficient to remove it totally but you can already tell the astounding difference from the pictures.

In addition, the chemicals used in this treatment is harmless, doesn't sting or carry any bad odour.

On a separate occasion, I went back to the salon so that my locks a fresh new look for my birthday. 

With the similar technique, Balayage, Zane decided to give my hair lighter tone than it already was.

There were little streaks of ash green along with the light brown base colour. 

Needless to say, I was extremely happy with the outcome!

Gah, I still need time to master the art of curling my hair properly.

Personally, I preferred a lighter hair colour than before. 

Just had to take more selfies when my hair is all dolled up!

Turns out, I found out that the hair studio at Haji Lane just expanded. Previously with only 1 level, now the hair studio has the whole block (3 levels) to themselves! Feels really good to see them doing so well and the owners, Jaron & Fion are really nice too.

Level 3 now has a nail parlour!
